Students are taught the current procedural practices for the operation of a successful private practice. In addition, the practical aspects of operating a practice as a small business are discussed. Students are encouraged to begin thinking about the integration of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine as an adjunct to their existing practice. Clinical case studies, case reviews, case management and risk management are discussed. Third party reimbursement is also reviewed. |
