Differential Diagnosis, Symptom Pattern Identification, Acupuncture Treatment and Technique

This module continues to discuss differential diagnostic patterns including multi-organ disharmonies, patterns of acute and chronic illness. Extra meridian diagnosis and treatments are covered. In addition, the student will learn how time of day and year can be used for both diagnosis and treatment. Western medical diagnosis will be analyzed and differentiated to re-frame the diagnosis and treatment is discussed and implemented in a therapeutic setting. Tongue and Pulse Diagnosis: This module is designed to increase the diagnostic skills and clinical applications of these uniquely Oriental parameters. The student will study healthy and diseased tongues and pulses and discuss how findings in these areas change the treatment principles and strategies.
